Carmen Conde was born in Barcelona and lives there. She is a primary school teacher. An avid reader and writer since early adolescence, in later years she took part in a short story contest and was chosen finalist. In 2016 she was awarded the II Trama de la Novela Negra Prize and published Para morir siempre hay tiempo in Ediciones B. In 2017 La escritora was published in the same Publishing House.
