“I have to admit that both the novel and the author have been a discovery for me. It is not at all easy in a rather short thriller to convey depth and make the reader empathize with the protagonists and the author achieves this practically from the beginning. I also thought I was going to read a novel with a plot that was too simple, with a simple resolution and probably very predictable; however, nothing like that. I had no idea who was behind it all until the writer made it obvious. A fantastic setting that perfectly recreates that literary gothic and dark Barcelona of the early twentieth century, where no one seems to be what they appear to be and where the female figure and her freedom is still a mirage in society. An entertaining and addictive reading to devour with eagerness.” Todo Literatura
