Eduardo Fernán-López (Villalpando, 1985) has got a PhD in Contemporary History and a degree in Art History.
He is a regular contributor to the literary magazines Zenda and Qué Leer.
He has participated in the University of Salamanca’s Congress of Novels and Film Noir, in the Tenerife Noir Seminar on research into the noir genre at the University of La Laguna, in the Buenos Aires Negra International Festival of Police Literature and in the Medellín Negro International Literature Congress.
His first novel, La dentellada (2021), won the VI Tuber Melanosporum Award at Morella Negra. He was a finalist for the II Paco Camarasa Prize, the Ojo Crítico de Narrativa 2021 and the IVth Icue Negro Prize at Cartagena Negra Festival.
With El balanceo del Alacrán (2025) he immerses us in an atmospheric thriller with the Galician coast as the main character.
