In 2022, the Galician fishing trawler Alacrán sank off the Canadian coast and only two of its twenty-four crew survived. After the trial begins, Raúl Barros, the president of the business conglomerate that owned the trawler, is found dead. Inspector Tristán Negreira and sub-inspector Virginia Almada, from the National Police in Vigo, will be in charge of investigating this double crime whose motives go back many years.
