Graziella Moreno

Graziella Moreno (Barcelona, 1965) wanted to study journalism, but ended up studying law, which she enjoyed, while still continuing to write in her spare time. She has been familiar with the inner workings of the justice system since 1991, when she began her career as a civil servant, and in 2002 she became a judge. She specialises in criminal law and has been assigned to the courts of Amposta, Gavá, Martorell and Barcelona. She writes stories and articles for magazines and digital newspapers. Her first novel, Juegos de maldad was published in 2015 and nominated for best crime novel of 2015 at the Cubelles Noir festival, receiving a special mention from the jury. Her literary output until now includes El bosque de los inocentes (2026) Flor seca (2017), Invisibles (2019), El salto de la araña (2020) which was awarded the 2020 Mediterranean Literary Prize, Los animales de ciudad no lloran (2022), Pudimos ser héroes (2025). La hora de la fuga is her latest novel.
